The Seven Sisters Cliff walk is a short 2-hour drive from London, but only 19 kilometres (12 miles), from the seaside town of Brighton. Whether you’re on a city break or just visiting for the day, it’s worth the effort to explore the cliffs.

Can You Park at Seven Sisters Cliffs?

Yes, parking is available at Seven Sisters Country Park car park, and there are two car parks.

Where to Park for Seven Sisters Walk

There are two parking lots at the Seven Sisters car park. The first one is south of the A259, just past the bridge in Exceat. The other one is just before the bridge next to a bus stop. For parking near Seven Sisters Cliffs, you can park at Abbots Wood.

Both car parks are locked overnight and open year-round at 07:00. Closure times vary according to season.

Note: There are two pay and display car parks close to the Seven Sisters Country Park Visitor Centre – the Forest Car Park and The Riverside Car Park. Closing times are displayed at the entrances.

The Seven Sisters parking for cars, coaches, minibuses, and motorhomes is paid. But if you come riding a motorbike, parking is free. If you get a Discover Pass, you can park cars for free at Abbot’s Wood and Seven Sisters Country Park.

If you hold a Forestry England Parking Permit, the annual membership allows you free parking at Seven Sisters.

How Much Does it Cost to Park at Seven Sisters Car Park?

The prices differ from vehicle to vehicle. Here’s a summary:

  • Car: £3.00 for up to 2 hours and £4.00 for the day
  • Coach, minibus, and motorhome: £6.00 up to two hours and £12.00 for a full day
