London has become my home and while I love it dearly, a weekend getaway from the hustle and bustle is always welcome. Although the UK is a considerably small island, it packs a punch with amazing city break locations.
So you’ve explored all of London’s famous landmarks. It’s time to venture out and treat yourself to an adventure or relaxing UK weekend away.
1. Bath: UK Staycation
Bath is famous for its breathtaking beauty and is the only UNESCO World Heritage city in the UK. From the buttery golden-coloured Georgian architecture to the sweeping country hills, Bath is postcard picturesque.
It was the home of Jane Austin and it’s easy to understand where her inspiration for romantic novels came from.
