A relative newcomer on the scene since opening in autumn 2016, Mercato Metropolitano street food market has been growing from strength to strength.

Mercato Metropolitano – the name is a nod to its Italian vibe.

Located just behind the Elephant and Castle shopping centre, in an unexplored part of London. This means that the market is less crowded with a more chilled vibe compared to the other London markets on this list.

At a glance, you’ll think this food market is small, and you’ll miss the large, modern food court hiding in a 45,000-square foot warehouse. Trust me guys it's huge!

Pop Up Brixton

If you’re in Brixton for a day, then visit Pop Up Brixton. All I can say is that Londoner’s are a creative bunch – we can make something out of nothing. With food stalls and shop front serving up some tasty treats from some of London’s best street food traders.

Like Mama’s Jerk, that dishes out juicy Jamaican style street food, along with Scoop (a boutique Ice Cream), Maria Sabina with its Mexican street food in London alongside social initiatives like Minerva Tutors providing academic tutors to kids of all ages.To truly experience Pop Brixton it's best to visit on a Friday evening when both sake from Sakeya and good music will be flowing.
