Street Food at London Bridge
London is a melting pot of cultures and cuisines from all over the world. Here are some of the best local and international street food markets in London Bridge.
Borough Market London
The Borough Market is possibly one of London’s most well-known food markets and is a favourite among locals and tourists alike.
This might be because it’s been operating at its current location since 1756 and actually has over a millennium’s worth of trading history.
The Borough Market is open seven days a week. However the best time to visit the market is on the weekends when all the stalls are open.
The weekend is also Borough Markets busiest day, but the buzz and liveliness of the market is definitely worth wading through the crowds of people on those days.
There are three main areas with over 100 stalls to serve you delicious drinks and snacks. The first area, Crown Square, is where you’ll find the larger producers and merchants.
The second area is the Green Market, which sells fresh produce. Sundays are an excellent day to visit the market for fresh produce. With the market’s ‘We love Sundays’ initiative, they aim to sell fresh fruit, vegetables and animal products for four hours.
The Borough Market Kitchen is where you’ll find street food traders. You’ll find any and every type of food here from almost every country under the sun, from Greek-Cypriot street foods to Malaysian clay pot curry.
If you’re a Harry Potter fan, you’ll enjoy this magical London Harry Potter guided walking tour. On this two-and-a-half-hour tour, you’ll visit a few historical places in London, among them the Borough Market.
You’ll also have the option of making a short boat trip on the River Thames that the London Bridge crosses.

Vinegar Yard also has a flea market called Flea, which emphasises sustainable living by selling vintage and new items from traders and makers.
