St Luke’s Mews is known as one of the prettiest mews in London. This small cobbled street is lined with mews houses. Mews houses were built between the 18th and 19th centuries as stables for horses, with accommodation above for servants.

And speaking of movies, this street is famously known as the filming location of the famous movie “Love Actually.”

In the movie, Keira Knightley’s character lives in the house at the end of the mews, and it is where she shares an adorable kiss with her on-screen husband, played by Andrew Lincoln. Even if you’re not a massive fan of the movie, this street is still worth a visit.

However, I’ve found that the best time to take photos of St Luke’s Mews is spring and summer.

During spring, the wisteria in the mews is in full bloom, and the purple and white of the wisteria compliment the pink on the 27 St Luke’s mews house.

During summer, the flowers on the our pastel houses are at their fullest and will add a whimsical look to your photos.

The nearest tube to St Luke’s Mews in London is Westbourne Park Tube station and Ladbroke Grove station.

To get to St Luke’s mews, take the Hammersmith and City line to Ladbroke Grove tube station. The London mews is only a seven-minute walk from Ladbroke Grove Station through Portobello Road to the mews.
